I am sorry not commenting today but time has been a little tight.
This shot was taken with me standing in a stream, I knelt down to get lower and sat in the water so the walk back was rather uncomfortable to say the least.
Taken with my ring flash on quarter power as the light was poor and it was shot hand held.
I hope a few of you like it.
Regards. - gary
brilliant detail gary wonderful tones and light a cracker nice one
Excellent Gary, like the composition and detail,
Thanks for getting wet knees Gary, from where i'm sitting ( next to the fire) that was well worth it!!
That looks great with that lighting, Gary!
Still chuckling Gary ref. uncomfortable walk back. An excellent shot, cracking colour with fine detail on the fungi and log.
The effect of the ring flash is extraordinary, and impressive. I wonder what time of day this was taken? It has the effect of little lanterns glowing in the night.
Fine detail from the ring flash, Gary, a well captured image and nearly as good as the mental image of you sitting in the water!!
Paddling in this weather? come on Gary there must be better ways of
getting an image....
Oh but what a shot so crisp and clear
perfection all the way
looks like it was worth getting wet for. nice crisp shot.
omg what a shot and yes well worth getting wet for
Well worth a wet rear end when you bring home a shot like this, Gary:: a really fine cluster and so well captured with the ring flash as described, exposure being spot on.
Wonderful against the black b/g, and the oblique composition is excellent.
What we must go through for our art!
I always knew you were Gary, you must be to put up with the likes of me and the Big O for hours on end on our days out in the Forest of Dean. There is not mushroom for improvement here mate, this is a cracking cluster you've found here, did you harvest them to eat at home?
Love it! Wel ldone -I wish I can take such a shot.
I applaud your dedication to achieving your aim!
A beautiful result.I must learn about ring flash - the light is wonderful.
Yuk! Wouldn't want them on my toast.
lovely capture Gary, thanks for the chuckle too, i've not had a chance to find any this year yet.
