Fungi With My Fun Guy 5

By LynneJoyce
You might be relieved that this is the last of my Autumn 2018 mycology posts. I am relieved because it means that I will be able to have a rest from getting down and dirty to get shots. Getting down isn't half as much of a problem as getting up again but getting dirty is a daily occurrence when you have a boisterous pup like Ansel.

There are some subtle shadows in the opener and more obvious ones in V7 and the contextual shot, V8, to satisfy the Shadow Saturday requirement. The rest, I hope, speak for themselves. Thank you for viewing and I hope that you like at least some of these shots.

A fine collection. The lead is especially attractive.
Does Ansel sit still to allow you to take these very good close-ups?

V14 is the underside of a bracket fungus showing the pores. I had to really get down snd dirty to get this one.

I understand your writeup quite well, Lynne. A wonderful set of images of fungus. My favourites are those "porcelain dishes" and the last one.

A comprehensive and interesting finale' to a wonderful series, Lynne. V7 has a certain something that appeals to me as a favourite.

All the best to you, and if you can't stay clean, stay safe.

A great and varied collection of fungi (and dog), Lynne 🍄👍😀 They make a great subject, but as you say, it's getting down to their level that's tricky - and even worse getting back upright again!! 🙁
