Thanks folks, I know such stuff isn't the normal plat du jour here, but as Chris said, wanted to show the various aspects of the day. Glad it did.

13 was pretty close, but I got closer, although shooting there was tricky. Nothing like trying to get a crowd shot and realise everyone is moving back, look over you shoulder to have you nose smudged against a riot shield... time to move Smile

Fantastic set of images with some great perspectives - you've also caught the humour these protests can have. I always love the banners that people come up with - they're a riot in themselves .. Wink

Your right Suzi, the homemade banners with personal messages are the best, a documentary subject in themselves, although the bwanker mesages were ten a penny Smile

Paul, as I keep telling people, they don't do protest/riots like they used to. I recognise you from your profile pic, have seen you out and about at a few photo opps, I will have to say hello next and introduce myself, thanks for all the comments.
