Galloway Loch

Set up the tripod and camera at the end of a days fishing to catch this reflection. Forgot to switch off the IS and did not reduce to lower ISO. Appreciate any comments or recommendations.

prefect reflection shots like this are always lovely. As there's no real point of interest the best device to use is perfect horizontal symmetry. You've done well with that here. Unfortunately what lets it down in this resect is the slant of the waterline. It's a natural trick of perspective, as if you view the pic large over a grid you'll see that the vertical points are all dead plumb with their reflections. So the slanting bank for me just takes away from the symmetry a little bit.

But hey, nice work

There is no subject. This looked much better to your eye than the recorded image, but there is no focal point and it thus falls into a rather general category. I think you needed to zoom in and have a much tighter crop.
