Gannet & Chick

By Alan_Baseley
Bempton Cliffs last Friday.
Very quiet now most of the seabirds, other than the Gannets, have left. It seems to be a case of no Puffins no people.
Still plenty to photograph, Gannets, the ubiquitous Jackdaws and loads of insects.

You can see plenty of Gannet pictures but not so often their chicks. It looks larger than it's mother and still has some of it's downy feathers. Good capture.

Superb capture Alan, I took my friend back in May. He said how do you know where the Puffins are, I said just look for a crowd of people and you have found them

Stunning shot of what would seem to be difficult subjects Alan

Not very sharp at all. This type of image must be pin sharp on the main subjects.
