Garden Reflections

By bannview
Trying out my secondhand Nikkor 60mm macro lens which my son-in-law gave to me as he was not making use of it. I took this macro close up image in my garden of what is actually a very thin stalk of a lily plant in real life with water droplets hanging from it in which are reflected the garden fence and flowers in the flowerbed. I know perhaps it`s not the best maybe compositionally but I was up close an personal inside the plane foliage with my camera on a tripod so I tried to get the best I could get. I would be interested to hear what you macro boffins think as this is not my speciality.

I am a novice when it comes to commenting on macro photography really but I love this, an interesting perspective and very well captured....full marks from me

I might be tempted to crop across the top to focus on the drops under the stem, that said, I love it, very clever.

Such a clever shot, but might also be tempted to crop a little bit, not much, at the top. Ann.
