I have many times seen Sparrowhawks swooping at speed through our Garden, attracted by the bird feeders and the Swallows that nest in the open barn. On Friday evening after I returned from work, this one was sitting on an Obelisk in the garden, the first one I have seen stationary here. I was able to open the half landing and sitting room windows to get these images, light was not great but I could use a beanbag on the windowframe.
