Garden Visitor

By AntonS
This little fella came hopping through my garden late one night. And he was so photogenic!
I had to work fast as the security light that he's lit by is on a 4 minute timer...
I've also used Capture Pro Express 6 to crop, straighten and adjust slightly.

You have done extremely well in the conditions, but the ideal view is 3/4 front with the head dominating the image. Compositionally there is too much out of focus back end here. There will be comments on the yellowness of the lighting due to the continuous light source - I can live with that, but you may have been able to correct it a bit by adding some blue and cyan. However, for a grabbed shot, very good.

Hi Paul, thanks for commenting. I did try to get more of his head in the frame but found my shadow was being cast on him! I couldn't move my light source!

I am going to try to tweak the colours a bit more, I'm still learning about the software!!

Thanks again for taking the time to cooment.

Anton
