A lovely shot! I get sparrow hawks and kestrels using my garden as a take-away, they are usually travelling too fast to capture. At least yours poses for you!!

What a great oppotunity,I'm sure he will be back for further sittings.
I have a Kestrel that regularly visits although some way off....I'm working on it,together with the Barn Owl that flies past my window every day,the Wren that scuttles under my Holly bush,the Kingfisher that sits on my back fence.....the list goes
