Garganey Drake

By callaby
Taken yesterday in the Royal Forest of Dean, this lovely Garganey drake was very busy feeding in the weeds spending more time with his head under the water than not and constantly moving making it difficult to get a decent shot of him. The light was constantly changing, one moment bright sunlight and the next not so good, Iím sure you have all been there.
Lovely creatures and not often seen in these parts Iím told, the female was even less cooperative than her ďhusbandĒ preferring to stay out a little too far to get sharp images amongst the weeds.

Many thanks to all for looking at and voting for my recent uploads, much appreciated, also thanks to those of you who have given advice on how to improve, this is a great help.
Regards to all and have a great weekend.
