Yes it is not operating, and current laws would not allow it either. The amount of gas you order is pumped up into the glass measuring container and then gravity fed to your gas tank. Between deliveries these glass measures are a potential bomb. The gas fumes, y'know. TG

A really great find, and superbly captured. I would certainly find a place for this rather nostalgic piece of automotive fuelling system.
