Gatekeeper taken at the weekend. So good to see them all flying around but shame they don't settle for long!

Thank you all very much for the votes and comments on my last upload - your thoughts were very very much appreciated and helped a lot.

If anyone can do a mod on this to tidy up the background or at least advise me how to do it I would be really grateful. Not always easy to get a clean background!

Take care, Lou

Well captured, Lou. I would try a tighter crop, with the pretty little butterfly moved to the left hand side of the image. Carol

A fine shot Lou, they are never easy to catch with their wings open. I'd have cropped a bit closer assuming you wouldn't have lost any detail

Nicely captured Lou.

Thanks Carol - thought it might've lost a lot more if I cropped in any further but this one looks to be good! Will see how far I can go when I've got some time later. Lou

Well captured Lou, but no idea how to clean up the bg. Looks fine on Carol's mod. Moira

Well captured Lou, and what great detail there
think that is all I would do for a mod and crop in

well done to get the fast little beggar.
agree with Carol... I just crop my butterflies there is still so much detail left if you only downsize from 2000 pixel or so.

I like it as it is Lou, the problem with cropping these small things is you lose so much detail, it would be so nice if they would just play ball and perch on a single flower head with a plain BG Wink
