Gathering Nest Material

By dark_lord
Thanks for your votes and comments on Silly Pigeon.
I'm afraid I've not managed to get on here much over the last couple of days what with setting up of a business, so apologies if I've not commented or voted on anyon'es images. I'll try and catch up as much as I can.

However I did manage to spend a short time to get this. I first saw this wren gathering moss at the weekend but was not in a position to get a shot. It then appeared a couple of days later doing the same thing, so I sat in the doorway to the patio, balancing my long lens on my knee. thank goodness for IS!

What a delightful image. You have to be so quick to capture a
Wren image - if you can.

Marvelous image of Jenny Wren, or should that be John Wren...???
Thank heavens for long lenses...!
Nathan's 50mm f1.8 would be no match for this job, Keith Wink

Thanks Simon, it would be John as it is the male that builds the nest, in fact several nests and the female selects the one to use.
