Geiranger Fjord is surrounded by the steepest mountains on the west coast of Norway.This branch off the Storfjorden is 9.3 miles (15 km) in length. The fjord is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is very narrow and has no habitable shore area. Waterfalls plunge into the fjord, the most well known being the Seven Sisters and the Suitor which face one another across the fjord.
