I'm guessing, but this almost looks like talc in the rock. Baby powder and all that. Makes for an interesting textured image. TG

Thank you, Joline! Yes, they BLASTED it, first; then they had to close it. However, it's better to keep away from mines and politics, even if they seem to be indispensable.

How very true. Mines are rather less dangerous in my experience!
Lovely and rather delicate gradations in tone and texture, a very interesting sight.
