Get Your Own Lunch!

By AndrewCee
Overlooking a tall stone at Old Moor RSPB reserve on to which a kind soul had left some sunflower seeds... And along came a greenfinch, then a bullfinch, and then another greenfinch but,... He was none of it! While sat having lunch, others did likewise only they had to keep intruders at bay. Initially I was disappointed the bird in flight was out of focus. On reflection I feel the movement of the greenfinch in flight reflects the aggression of the bullfinch.

Taken with the D7000 & 600mm f4 combination handheld while resting on top of the handrail around the balcony. Cropped to about 90% of original, little sharpening in post, and thats about it.

Lovely shot. I would love to catch a bullfinch. Lucky you
