Gight

By kinfatric
A desirable area two miles from Methlick and about 24 miles from Aberdeen where the amenity is the countryside, if you like that sort of thing that is. Driving along I spotted the scene, stopped got the shot....off again to the next spot...I was actually heading for Haddo Estate for the autumn colour at the time.
The shots been cropped omitting a lot of the sky

That 's a cracking little scene you found there Kin, beautiful colour and very nicely composed.

I would actually crop some more off of the sky. The beauty is in the bottom half and the sky tends to distract from this lovely scene.

Fair comment John, I have already cropped a fair whack of it off and wanted to keep the cloud as the upload.....but I take your critique on board and thanks.

Thanks Helen and Simon for your comments too....off to do my d.i.y. well it is Sunday Smile

Very 'des res' territory. The crop works, you're concentrating on the rich colours in the landscape. Those houses have a nice view...
