Excellent clarity, with a well found comp - the 3 mebers of the orchestra here framing the conductor to create a triangle.

Cracking work Simon, and excellent exposure using the available light. It's always great to see these images in your portfolio.

Cool. One of my favourite pieces of classical music, too.

Don't tell me you were in the middle of a perfomance and had your mind on photography???

Great shot, anyway. Wink

Hi Folks, Happy New year.

Boyd and Joolsb: I was lurking behind the Brass in the choir stalls.I was covering the concert for the BBC so I was able to be a bit less discreet than otherwise, hence using a big white lens!

Hi Gilly, I am with the BBCSSO Please don't mention the RSNO in the same sentence!!!

Delighted to be 30 for this outstanding image.
Both your loves in the same image, using your knowledge of the music you have captured the conductor at the peak of the action, well done.

A very happy new year to you Simon all the very best

Another outstanding shot from a priviledged position, although not in the orchestra this time. He looks like quite a character.
