Giving it his all

By davey_griffo
More Logicaltramp. This time from the other keyboardist. The one who wasn't lurking in the shadows next to the drum riser.

I had some bad news about the venue. I was back there again the following week (more of that to follow), & was told by Dave the front of house manager that the council is shutting them down & selling the place to Arriva the bus company in March. That'll be a hell of a loss to the area, the gigging public, & to our club, who've had an arrangement with them since 2008 to photograph there.

It's such a shame, as the place has gained a great reputation with the bands that have appeared there.

Nice one Wirral council.

Its bloody scandalous that such a good venue is getting closed down. Its nice and airey, has great acoustics and I, and am sure others have seen some great musicians play there. Sad news indeed, and a big blow for the area Sad

No doubt they will try and justify the sale Davey,by saying more buses will benefit the community !!
Is it Arriva, instead of Aviva that you have written here ?
When I worked in the railway,Arriva trains were some of the oldest and dirtiest I worked on !!
Good shots.
Mick.

Thanks for your comments & votes, folks.

You are of course right, Mick. Aviva is the insurance company. Smile
Suitably chastened, I've amended the write (****?) up.
