Gladiatory. The last RAF biplane fighter.

Shot at Duxford. First time that I'd seen a Gladiator. A neat machine but completely outdated by the start of WW2.

One has to mention Faith, Hope and Charity, and Malta.

I understand that there were actually more than three airframes on Malta, band things were a bit mix and match... The heroism of the Maltese people was matched by that of the armed forces defending them... The first wing of Hurricanes flying in at maximum range from a carrier; and the tanker Ohio, which arrived in Valletta strapped to a Royal Navy warship.
