Glanville Fritillary

I've been trying to get a good shot of one of these relatively rare butterflies for years, so was very pleased to find one a few days ago.

Dodge - hope you have good luck finding a Glanville. This one was settled down for the night and was quite sedate, and so easy to photograph. Some other species I've found far more flighty.
