Awesome. The sinuous line of the road seduces the viewer into the deeper darker mystery of the mist shrouded forest and mountains. Beautifully captured old chap

You'll not get midges in that kind of weather!
This image is the reverse of what we often see with mist or snow on top of the Buchaille.
I'm trying to visualise where this is on the road with the trees on both sides?
Was that a light dusting of snow on the road ahead - makes a great lead in!

Thanks Kate it's just past the bridge at the Buchaillle and it had just been lashing down with rain so the wet Tarmac caught the light Smile

Good looking out on this one. Love how the road just pulls you in and of course the background drama. On it!

A wonderful & strong image Jeremy! wAw!
Good layout and choice of POF!
Can't help wondering if a B&W conversion would make it even stronger, for me I sometimes opt for this when there's hardly any color in a photo...
Kind regards, Guy

Yes, I can see this as a good mono.
I like the way the road squiggles away into the distance.
An outstanding atmospheric image, Jeremy. The lead in lines and the mist are unbelievable. Top class.
