Glencoe (The Glen of Weeping)

By bill33
Another image from my trip to Glencoe at the Weekend. After a short climb up the hill to try to gain a vantage point for this photograph, this was the result. Waited for some time for the sun to break through the overcast sky, and was rewarded with some wonderful colours. As always your comments would be much appreciated. My thanks to everyone for your kind comments on my previous work. Bill.

A magnificent sweep down the Glen, Bill: to get this vantage point it was well worth the climb from the roadside.

Beautiful tones, Bill, and a great vantage point. The composition is very good but I think I would I would like to see the road joined up (although the topography may not have made that possible).

I can understand what you mean Dave, but I was standing on the edge very steep overhang at the time and without the aid of a rope it would have been impossible, LOL, my thanks once again for your valued comments, they are much appreciated. Bill.

Another nice shot Bill, still that little flash of Snow.....like the road in this shot what a Scalextric track that would be, you
just sometimes forget how vast an area you are in when things look miniature.

Nice.......
