Glenfinnan Viaduct 2

By Sue_R
Thanks for your votes and comments on my last image of the steam train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct.

We first saw it on our way over to Mallaig in the morning and went back later in the day to catch it returning from Mallaig to Fort William, without realising that there was another train going the other way first, so we had two attempts at capturing it this time. Much preferred the shots of the train heading towards Mallaig as the engine is the other way around on the return journey.

Another delightful shot, Sue, this time closer in...I'd love to be travelling on that, what a perfect way to spend the day! Wink

Slightly unreal, in some way, but I'm not sure how...

Very lovely, in any case!

Yep, I can quite see why the Train would be the other way around on the return journey Sue Smile
Another smashing shot, and a very good view of the Train and it's Tender.
