This shot Catherine works wonderfully in colour and in mono, if I had to choose it would be the colour just because of the reflections

I do prefer the colour version of this shot, Catherine, the B and W working well too but perhaps lacking the 'punch' of this coloured version.

the lines of the buildings are plain in both shots but the colour gives it vibrant life and in my opinion works better at fullfiling the title description.thank you .neil.

superb image,great lines,well taken catherine.ray
I like those pastel colours. Beautiful lines and patterns. Great you included the reflection.
B&W version is very attractive too but the colours add life to the photo.

I the main Catherine I would prefer colour. I feel the good Lord gave us eyes to see in colour and perhaps we should accept that. Of course there are exceptions to every rule and occasionally mono works very well; but these occasions are few and far between IMO.

Ron, I couldn't have said it better myself Smile
I love color but occassionally I try the mono for artistic purposes.
Thanks so much for your comments and observations. I love to look at your PF - the work you do... I am truly amazed.

Just stunning. Love the straight lines and reflections, and though I think this image looks great in in mono, it's even better in colour.

The colour relieves the tension. Yesterday and today are two lovely pictures
