After a night in the tent and a really early night I got up for sunrise on Glyder Fach...I had an amazing evening before and it sort of left wondering what to shoot as my aim on arriving was Castell Y Gwynt for sunrise, but I had captured it the evening before and I felt I probably couldn't better it...The forecast was for valley fog, which was promising but in the end it didn't transpire. I did however notice that the sky was taking on colour and so made my way up to around the summit of Glyder Fach...I wanted something where I could capture this colour. Unfortunately, all the grand views with valleys below were facing the wrong way but I did like these rocks near Bristly Ridge and no doubt a familiar sight to anyone who has been up there...The rocks, sticking out up into the sky like sentinals standing guard made the perfect foreground subject set against the skyfire of the morning.
