Go with the Flow...

By Scottishlandscapes
...the River Etive flowing across Rannoch Moor into Glen Etive, Scotland. Watching the water rush by is quite mesmerising.

Love the way the water dances round and over the rocks - I'm thinking 'slow - slow - quick - quick - slow' as the pace varies. Superb rich tones also.

Interesting that you've cropped out the mountain to concentrate on the 'smaller picture'. I like this one a lot, as you say water has a hypnotic effect.

Super image Dougie, like the "flow" lines you have captured.

Oh, I love the colours in this image... soft, warm chocolate... with just a bit of mint green... nice, very nice.

I love the colours too...it shows how crystal clear our water is and why our national drink is so pure. Lovely active shot Dougie.

And it's a testament to the quality of this image that its capture of the water movement is as mesmerising as it is in real life. I wish I could dip my feet in that cold clear water.
