After a grey Wednesday in Whitby, the following day was sunny & hot, and I took a trip on a steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to Goathland. Even though the TV drama series 'Heartbeat' finished a few years ago the village of Goathland - featured in the program and known as Aidensfield - is still very popular with tourists. The delightful railway station, which I'll upload later, was also used as Hogsmead, the local station for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films.
Here are some of the local Goathland residents, which wander around the village oblivious to visitors. Some, like the one in V2, found the sun a bit too hot and took refuge in the shade. I wouldn't have minded rustling a couple of these to keep my grass short and neat!
