MOIRA-you just know me too well now!! As soon as I saw the thumb,my eyes were drawn to the circumference of the tray, made up of all these lines. And what is your BG? Is it a table or your garden paving? Whatever it is you can keep your cake and I will have a slice of that!! The geometry of this image allows it to be cut into four equal segments(just like a cake). Each segment would be an image in its own right. They would be pure linear images with the cherries and greenery being additional colours which would also mimic the curved outline of the tray very nicely indeed. This is a classic case of having your cake and eating it too.Colour and detail are excellent here which all makes for a rather outstanding image.Well done Moira.
Mick.
Mick.

Hello again, and thanks to everyone who has been this way.
Proz, this is (highly alcoholic) fruit cake. Traditionally it's covered with marzipan and sugar icing, but we're not keen on the icing. So I use just marzipan and then decorate with nuts, crystalised fruit or whatever grabs my fancy. This year it was cherries and rosemary, which incidentally gave the marzipan a wonderful scent.
As I have explained to Mick, the cake is sitting on a plate, the plate is sitting on a tray (and the tray was sitting on our lawn). Men...!
