Going home

By Scutter
Every summer evening before dusk in the villages of Transylvania the foals, goats and cows make their own way down from the hillside pastures back to the village. Each animal knows where it lives and, if the owner is not sat out side literally waiting for the cows to come home, they bellow or bleat outside the gate to be let in for the night when they will be milked and fed.

It is also the time when the people who have been working away from the village come home too. It is frequently the busiest time of day on the street!
