Going over the top 2

Ribblehead Viaduct. More fun with the fish-eye, to create an alternative travel experience. Similar in effect to Tuesday's, but I moved to the left and closer to the viaduct, and I got down lower for the reeds.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Another excellent mono scene, Moira.

Another corker, though if forced to choose I might plump for the first one. There is about them something of the fairground, though perhaps not one you might care to visit alone, at night...

Thanks Alan. This was the composition that I was originally aiming for, except that I found that I could not include the winding path without moving back to the rocks. So I am split between them...

Both this and the first one give the distinct impression that the railway must finish most abruptly at the near end of the viaduct, as it seems to be - thanks to the angles you used - work in progress, and not completely connected properly.
The area it passes over has a charming name - Batty Moss. Sounds like a character down the local pub.Smile

Bleak, Victorian, dark, Satanic......one of the best of the viaduct I have seen in many a long year.

Another fine fish-eye capture from this location, Moira, the foreground grasses help give it depth 👍

Hard choice between the two. I rather like this one, it reminds me of a child's eye view while lying in the grass.

Another eye-catcher of the famous viaduct. I still prefer the first one with the winding path. It has been quite a good exercise using the fish-eye lens, which when I had one never thought of using it for landscapes.

Fine shot Moira.
I've not used a fisheye burt even with extreme wideangles a small change in position makes for big changes in composition.
Yes, torn between the two now Smile
