Goldcrest

By vagabond
Britains smallest bird. Not the best quality I'm afraid but thought I'd upload anyway as I,ve never managed to get one of these tiny little birds before. They are constantly on the move so the ability to zoom out was helpful when trying to follow it as it flitted from branch to branch. 400mm, f5.6, 1/200s, ISO 800.

I managed one a couple of weeks ago with nesting materials, difficult things to capture as you say moving all the time.
Great capture

An excellent shot Jeff. These are not easy birds to capture at all and this should have had a great deal more attention in my view.
