Golden Waxcap

By barrywebb
Golden Waxcap. My first waxcap find of the year. Hardly any showed last year due to the very dry summer and autumn. As I focused on the furthest point to start a series of shots to focus stack a tiny creature appeared. Lady luck was on my side. View large to see the little creature with water drops on it. The version shows two smaller waxcaps.
A big thanks to John and Mike for their UAs on my 'Sulphur Tufts' image.

Amazing the details you have brought on this mushroom. It looks quite translucent and the background is a perfect foil for its colours. Well done!
