Like TonyDy, I also disagree about these images "being too sharp". There is no tell-tale "halo" around the high contrast edges of the subject, or plumage feather detail "blocking up", which are both results of over-sharpening.

That perch does work well in this wonderful set. Sharp where it should be and definitely not over sharpened.
