Goldfinch on a stick II

By Glostopcat
A goldfinch awaiting its turn at the feeders by the Willow Hide at Slimbridge, taken on a visit there over the Easter holidays. This is the same bird that was featured a couple of weeks ago in a different pose. He/she is looking rather peeved at being made to wait in this shot! V2 of a Glanville Fritillary butterfly on an Oxeye Daisy, taken last May at Sand Point near Weston-Super-Mare is especially for epzer Carol G who is experiencing some troubled times at present. I was shocked to hear of her plight earlier this evening and hope that matters can be resolved fairly quickly.

Two very different nature shots, Ed: Slimbridge has come up trumps in supplying you with so many subjects.
And Carol would appreciate V 2 for sure........what I've heard about her plight is quite awful.

Two lovely shots.

Can't post a bug for Carol - about to pack the car and set off for Dover, computer unplugged etc, but I do hope that she receives all the messages of goodwill and gets to hell out of that awful situation soon.

Love that pose in v1 but it is the stunningly beautiful butterfly in V2 which really took my breath away this morning.

Great shot of the Goldfinch Ed. I think I might have taken a few moments to either crop or clone out the intrusive wire from the feeder. Gives then a great deal more emphasis to the bird.GrinGrin
