Good Morning Day 2 (Series)

By Owdman
After Wednesday's enjoyable jaunt we did another yesterday morning, walking along the Leeds Liverpool Canal from Red Rock to Haigh and then up to Haigh Hall. It's been a number of years since I walked along this section of the canal and I was surprised to see the water clear and lots of fish, even a couple of small pike. Lots of rubbish too, which makes you wonder where people threw there rubbish before they built canals. The lead image is one I took of my son who was actually trying to make out what a large piece of debris in the centre of the canal actually was. I liked the way the bridge frames the picture and provides a lead in. I was surprised to see how many barges appear to now be permanent homes, with cars parked next to them and parts of the canal bank converted into gardens! No walk today, I'm sat waiting for an engineer to fix the fridge.

I like the way you've framed the scene with the bridge in the lead image and made good use of your son, as you've also done in some of the very attractive versions, especially the 3rd. Itís my pleasure to give it my Guest Editor Award.
