Goyt before dawn

By Slaterm
This is one I found in the archives. No idea why I didn't process it until now.

Was taken last winter before dawn on a very cold morning out with Sean.

This was a speculative exposure. Long exposure with a 2 stop ND grad in place. It needed a slight exposure adjustment in lightroom 0.25 of a stop to brighten it. I wanted a simple almost mono feel to this.

Colours as they came out of camera. Only selective sharpening of the reeds as I wanted to leave the rest smooth.

Any suggestion welcome.

Hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend.

This one is best viewed large.
