Grain Elevator

By lindin
This is the grain elevator that our family used when I was growing up.This brings back memories of harvest time. Now it is falling apart. Would be interesting to see it in another 30 years. Now of the 2 elevators from my home town, there is none. Big farming has taken it's toll of the small town.

Just thought that this would be something different. Hope you like it.

Comments welcome.

I really like the angle and exposure and how the buildings fill picture. The frame however, is distracting from the picture.

I have to agree with you. It seems some reader like frames and others don't. Sometimes it depends on the photo, but other times it depends on the reader or photographer. I have taken the frame off and the color is somewhat different, but I definately like it better in the second one. Thank you for this comment. It reminds me to go with what I feel and not what others necessarily like.

I do like, especially because I like buildings and its something different.

I like the 2nd version better because of the colours.

Not sure about the frame, but I tried to concentrate on the image anyway.

I prefer the second one (just ignoring the frames Wink ) The grain elevators there are much less colourful than the ones in Saskatchewan were
