Gray Day Arrival at Oban.

By Tooma
Oban, on the west coast of Scotland; a main ferry port for many of the islands, the Inner Hebrides to the Outer islands.

I took this shot from the ferry, as we returned from Mull.

I am thinking about Oporto in Portugal--- Houses stacked up on the shore--different colors, different shapes--

Interesting to compare!

Grey maybe, yet still a very interesting vista showing the old world traditions. TG

Hi Walt. Here is some info, with a short video, explaining the structure, McCaig's Tower/Folly. https://mccaigs.com/mccaigs-tower/
