Great Court Glass

By BarbaraR
Hi all,
Here's my shot of the Queen Elizabeth II Great Court at the British Museum, London.
I do prefer my Philip's version, please see Here
Mine shows some of the vast roof, 3312 individual panes of glass, no
two the same, covering two acres !
The old reading room centre and a super 6 ton marble lion dating to the
2nd or 3rd century BC, found in what is now modern Turkey.
The 'Lion of Knidos'.
Oh and there is my Husband centre frame, light shirt, having just bought me
a fab book on jewellery through 7,000 yrs Wink
Many thanks for all the nice C&C's on my last upload of Haddon Hall.

Both yours and Philip's are great shots showing the building at it's best, I think you may be right
about Philip's though.

Both very nice shots. It's a great building to photograph.
Perhaps a little tweak of the colour, i.e. take down the green a bit, could make them even better as there's quite an overall colour cast.

At the risk of being ignord by you in the futre, I think I prefer Philip's image, but that doesn't mean to say that yours is no good Grin I like the inclusion of Philip, and what a kind hubby to buy you such a lovely present Smile Carol

Well, in all honesty, I can't pick one over the other. I like them both and I love all the archetectural info you've included in your comments.
