I like the way that single tall post (classic rule-of-thirds placement) dominates the rest, holds them in order.

Hill Farming is not for the feint of heart, keeping up repairs year after year is hard, subsidies are late coming in and the work ends up never being done to keep the fences and infrastructure up to date. You read little snippets in the papers but if you walk on farmland you see the reality. Less money means repairs are put aside for next year. Then it never comes.

Sorry to ramt Alan but people think that farmers all drive around in Range Rovers, the reality is quite different.

A little insight into hill farming in one image. Nicely done.
