Skua against a lighthouse

This bird was the easiest to photograph (I carefully avoided using shoot here!) on my trip to Iceland. It was extremely aggressive and by no means attractive! It flew very close which was an advantage to me as I only had my 70-200 mm to hand. It also eats puffins which means it is NOT a nice creature!

As a novice BIF shooter I appreciated the practice before I met the puffins further round the headland!

Any way here are the best shots..............
