Well spotted (pardon the pun) :D You've not shown your exif data, maybe a faster shutter speed would have given a sharper image on a moving subject :D:D

A good try, as 'odiefoxydog' has said, a faster shutter speed would have caught the action a little clearer - though saying that we can see this is a [u]male[/u] Greater Spotted Woodpecker!:)
