Green Globe Artichoke 2

Another image of the artichoke, this time looking down on it.

As I said before, “A cultivated majestic thistle with a purple flowerhead that attracts masses of bees.
Cynara cardunculus is a robust herbaceous perennial to 2.5m forming a clump of silvery-grey spiny leaves up to 1m in length.”

I appreciate all who visited my images of the Alhambra cats.

I never realized that an artichoke can be a thing of beauty, as shown in your image. A great range of colours, pin sharp, with a good background that enhances the end result.
