Green Shield Beetle

By Russell_Charles
Back to things with legs. He probably has a fancy name but he is a green Shield Beetle. About the size of a new penny. Looking for bugs and nearly laid on him' Oh he is supposed to be that flat!! No insects were harmed making this picture

Well camouflaged, and a good capture in the grass. Very commendable to be able to get down that low, Russell Wink

Interesting creature well captured.
Where do you find all these bugs and beasties?
Being so small no wonder you nearly flattened him more!!
