Well done on getting this shot, they are quite skittish normally, A little more colour saturation might make this stand out even more.

Beautiful photo of a green woodpecker.
We used to have red bellied woodpeckers when we lived in the Carolinas. They had red caps white chest, black and white spotted bodies with a tinge of red on the underbelly.
They are one of my favorite birds.

I to have struggled to get a half decent green woodpecker image, this time I found a photogenic bird... it's only taken just over a year.
