Greens are good for you

By HobbitDave
Don't think I've ever seen this before, a Grey Squirrel eating the freshly sprouted tops of a Sycamore tree. They must know that there's some good nutrients in them.
A very wet and cloudy day so maybe it was all he could find.
Photo taken through glass, & uploaded via iPad.

Thanks very much for the comments and UAs on my Mountaineering Ladybird, they are really appreciated, and all UAs have been thanked personally via PMs.

No chance, Lillian Wink. It's the PhotoPal app on my iPad that does the cleaning. Glad you like him.

They eat anything they can get hold of.
Nuts
Fruit
Cables
Baby birds
Eggs
... the list is endless.

Great observation and picture, Dave.

How can anyone not like squirrels! (Although the above comment about them eating baby birds is sort of awful!)
Great capture, Dave.

It is awful, Christina.
They are cute in appearance but responsible for much devastation.
They can also spread infections.
You can have them back if you wish!
Hope you are well.
