Grumpy Turtle

This goes with the Grumpy Robin shot from a few days ago. A couple of years back someone dumped a load of these turtles near the canal . We needed up looking after them until they went to a sanctuary (invasive species, these must not be released into the wild!). They weren't in too good a condition, but after some TLC and some food this one perked up a bit!
