Guinness

By Stevetheroofer
.Before lockdown I hardly touched alcohol, but knowing I'm not going out in the car I seem to be drinking a little bit more than usual. No more than two cans a night but this is still more than my two or three a week.
I am keeping fit and healthy despite my extra Guinness input and have remained toned with no saggy bits.

How are you all coping with the Alcohol and lockdown?

Rotter! Now I really fancy sitting in a sunny village pub garden with a Guinness shandy ( if you've never had one, try it! Bar staff hate it as it's a bugger to pour, but the sweet of the lemonade and the bitter of the Guinness is to die for on a hot day!), with maybe a fresh ham and caramelised onion sandwich and chilli crisps....Oh, Lord now I'm rambling....Grin

The best Guinness I have ever had was in the Guinness brewery outside Belfast. SmileSmileWink

I was driving most days before, so only had a bit to drink at weekends. Now it's only a short trip to the shops once a week but I still only have a glass now and then but it's a pity there hasn't been any snooker on, which reminds me it's the 35th anniversary of THE final Smile

You might find that that's the "Caffreys" brewery.

It's claimed that all the Guinness consumed in Ireland, indeed, in Europe (and I think, America) is brewed in Dublin.
