Gulf of Kotor from six miles up

By Kako
Had great clear skies for much of a recent flight from Manchester to Kalamata with Easyjet...spent most of my time looking out of the window. Was intrigued by this place so took a pic then spent a while online using satellite imagery courtesy of NASA and Google maps to identify the place...which turned out to be the Gulf of Kotur on the Adriatic coastline of Montenegro.

The town of Kotur is at the extreme right of photo. I even managed to identify the cruise ship visible using port schedules for Kotor...apparently it was the MSC Magnifica and was just leaving having spent the morning alongside.

Having just researched the place...I may well have found my next holiday destination!
